Hi-Cal Gel

 

 

 

 

An oral nutritional gel providing a combination of calcium, magnesium, potassium, and cobalt for

dairy cattle at calving time

 

 

Provides two sources of calcium resulting in both a

rapid and prolonged increase in blood calcium

 

Contains magnesium, potassium and cobalt which
are required at parturition

 

Reduced risks of product entering the lungs when

compared with liquid drenches

 

Contains propionate which provides readily
available source of energy

 

Gel formulation keeps nutrients uniformly suspended

in product

 

Safe with no concern of residues in the milk

 

Calcium chloride, calcium propionate,

magnesium chloride, potassium chloride,

cobalt sulfate, sodium citrate, sucrose, silica dioxide, propylene glycol, distilled water

 

 

Administer one tube of Hi-Cal Gel prior to or immediately after calving and a second tube 12 to 24 hours later

 

          1. Place nozzle near the rear of mouth

          2. Hold head of cow in a slightly elevated position

          3. Discharge the entire contents of the tube.  Allow

              the animal time to swallow during administration
