Mold-Stop

 

 

 

 

A combination of the organic acids propionic acid, acetic acid, and benzoic acid, blended on an inert dry carrier, designed to be used to inhibit mold growth in animal feeds

 

 

Mold-Stop inhibits mold growth in animal feeds to reduce feed deterioration to maintain maximum feed
nutrient levels

• Using Mold-Stop extends feed storage life

• Contains a high level of propionic acid which is widely known to inhibit mold growth

• Acetic acid and benzoic acid provide synergistic effects with propionic acid to increase mold inhibiting
properties (Acetic acid: bacteria control, Benzoic acid: yeast control, Propionic acid: mold control)

• Assists in preventing formation of mycotoxins which may result from mold growth in feed

• Highest quality carrier utilizing small particle size which allows greater surface area for contact which
maximizes dispersion and increases effectiveness

Propionic acid, acetic acid, benzoic acid, vermiculite, sodium bentonite, silica dioxide

 

 

Administer at the rate of 500 - 2,000 grams per ton of
animal feed. Higher usage rates may be beneficial
depending upon the feed moisture level.
Recommended usage rate (based on mold levels):

Low: 500 - 1,000 grams per ton
Med: 1,000 - 1,500 grams per ton
High: 1,500 - 2,000 grams per ton

*Local conditions should be considered when
determining usage rate
